RCC supports electronic transmission of 1098 and 1099 information to the IRS

Gold River, CA, April 2, 2016. Synergex, developer of RCC resort management software, has added support for the electronic submission of 1098 and 1099 forms to their RCC application.

Every year, timeshare companies are required to file 1098 or 1099 tax forms with the IRS.  Previously RCC customers had to obtain an IRS FIRE (Filing Information Returns Electronically) exemption (if needed) and print and mail these forms to the IRS each year.  Now, RCC 8 enables you to create the tax files in the file format required by the IRS for electronic transmission, streamlining the submission process and minimizing errors. Plus, the RCC application is updated each year to reflect format changes made by the IRS.

“This feature will make it much easier for us to submit tax forms in a timely way, while at the same time reducing the possibility for error,” states Carol Ressler of Ocean Landings Condominium Association. “It’s a real timesaver, taking the stress out of meeting IRS filing deadlines, and it is a much faster and better alternative to mailing paper forms.”
